PRACTICAL PDF GUIDE
How to rotate PDF pages without changing their order
Correct sideways PDF pages with quarter-turn rotation, select the right page positions and review the downloaded document.

Identify which pages need rotation
Open your original PDF and note the physical page positions that are sideways. Page positions begin at 1 and can differ from printed page numbers. Rotation changes orientation; it does not rearrange pages or straighten a slightly tilted scan. Keep your original so you can compare the result.
Choose a quarter turn
Open Rotate PDF, choose your file and enter the affected pages, or leave the selection empty for all pages. Choose 90, 180 or 270 degrees. If different pages need different turns, Organize PDF offers page-specific rotation settings. The current file limit is 100 MB and the shared job limit is 500 input pages.
Example: one landscape page in a report
If page 4 is sideways while the rest are upright, select page 4 and apply the quarter turn that puts its heading at the top. Download the result and compare pages 3, 4 and 5. Confirm that the content remains readable and that the report order has not changed. This is a workflow example, not an automatic orientation-detection feature.
Check forms, signatures and text
Rotation is a structural edit. Check annotations, form fields, bookmarks and digital-signature warnings before sharing. A rotated scanned page still needs OCR if you want searchable printed text; rotation itself does not recognize words. For a slight scan skew, review the OCR result rather than assuming a 90-degree rotation will fix it.
Download the result before it expires
The free processing service can need time to wake. Keep the source in your browser until processing starts, download the finished PDF promptly and keep a local copy before temporary files expire. Your browser session stays connected for your next document. Files are temporary and can disappear when the backend restarts.
