PDF Universe usage terms
Understand authorized document processing, free-service limits, output review and the temporary nature of PDF Universe results.
Authorized use
Use the tools only with documents you own or are authorized to process. Password removal requires authorization and the correct password when needed. Do not use the service to bypass someone else’s access controls or submit unlawful material.
Free, shared service
The current tools do not require payment or an account. Free infrastructure has shared capacity and quotas; availability, processing speed and successful recovery of a damaged file are not guaranteed. No paid subscription is introduced by these pages.
Review your results
Keep your source files and verify every result before relying on it. OCR can misrecognize words. Compression can change image quality. Structural edits can affect signatures, forms and accessibility. PDF permissions are not absolute copy prevention, and cropping is not a redaction guarantee.
Temporary storage
Uploaded documents and outputs are temporary, may expire or disappear on restart, and should not be treated as backups. Download results promptly and use the deletion control when finished. The Privacy page explains the hosted processing workflow.
