Existing printed numbers are not automatically removed. The overlay must fit within the page; reduce the font or margin if a layout cannot fit.

Can I show page and total together?
The format supports placeholders such as {page} and {total}. The total follows the selected numbering sequence.
Can I leave a cover unnumbered?
Select only the pages that should receive numbering and set the starting number for that selection.
